Jeff Stauber - East Central Regional Coordinator
Jeff Stauber is the East Central Regional SCIP Implementation Coordinator. He works from his home office in Green Bay.
Jeff is owner of Safety Planning & Consulting LLC, a public safety consulting firm he started after retirement from the Green Bay Fire Department in 2008, and serves as the Emergency Planning Coordinator for the Green Bay Packers. Jeff recently served as Interim Director of FoxComm, a three-county public safety communications consortium in the Fox River Valley.
Jeff started his 32-year fire service career as a volunteer, then worked for 28 years as a career firefighter, paramedic, and fire officer in Green Bay. He was appointed chief of the department in January 2002. Jeff is a past member of the executive board of the Wisconsin State Fire Chiefs Association and served as the Wisconsin representative to the International Association of Fire Chiefs, Great Lakes Division Board of Directors. He was a member of the Brown County LEPC and served as chairman of the Brown County Public Safety Communications Advisory Board.
Jeff received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Safety Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati in March 2000. He attended the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program, receiving his EFO designation in May 2006, and has completed extensive coursework in the NFA's Incident Management, Management Science, and Executive Development curriculum areas.
